We practice Pranakriya Yoga, a compassionate yoga, based on the teachings of Swami Kripalu. Founded by Yoganand Michael Carroll, Pranakriya Yoga is a yoga of the heart.

Pranakriya Yoga teacher training begins September 8, 2017.
Become more fully alive!
Our 200 Hour training meets for nine weekends, spread over 9 months. Each weekend is woven together in a logically structured sequence of dynamic and self-reflecting studies of asana, pranayama, and meditation. Students develop a deeper understanding of human anatomy and yogic philosophy. The training includes methodologies for designing and teaching yoga and for leading five different kinds of yoga classes. There is no requirement to become a yoga teacher. The training is also available for those who are wishing to deepen their worn practice. Graduates receive a certificate to teach Pranakriya Yoga- Hatha Yoga with a heart. Come learn how to develop a relationship with your body through gentle movement, breath, and meditatio. The Pranakriya Gentle Yoga Teacher Training shows us another way to connect with ourselves, through the subtle and the quiet. You will learn to listen, slow down and pay attention to yourself and your class. This program will cover practices for more able-bodied students, chair practices, and floor practices for exploration. Pranayama and meditation will be discussed.
